Signs, signs, everywhere a sign...

Ever wonder how a restaurant sign is made? Well let us pull back the curtain and show you how it's done! Check out these awesome pics of our new signs being made. That machine is all drillin' and cuttin' and shapin' our sign like a boss. It's gonna be so pretty when it's up, we can't wait.

The Shape of Walls to Come

Check out the progress! As you can see from the new photos the restaurant is coming together. We've got rooms and booths taking shape, piping and electricity being laid, and a guy on a ladder so you know it's gotta be good.

Farrell’s Brea Spooky Skeletal Insides

It looks like Farrell's Brea is getting in the Halloween spirit! We've put up the inside framing, or "skeleton" if you will (spooky, right?), and it’s all beginning to take shape. We've shaped out the dining areas, kitchen, candy store, ice cream fountain and even our walk up window section that will be located along Birch Street that will serve Farrell's ice cream treats and food to walk up customers strolling along the promenade. Check out the new images below and stay tuned as we'll have some new updates soon!

Caution! We're in a hard hat area.

Construction is well underway for our Brea location. We've shaped out our inside and have begun filling in, setting up and puttin' down all the things that make Farrell's... well, Farrell's! As everything starts coming together we're proud to say we've got the classic Farrell's look and feel you'll remember, but that's not to say we don't have some amazing new things planned for our Brea location, things you've never seen at a Farrell's before but we know you'll love. Just like you, we can't wait to get this store open and churning out cool treats and hot eats to all our Farrell's FUNatics and soon to be FUNatics. Check out the new photos below and don't forget to keep checking in for more updates.

Delivering happy-itis to every guest, every day in the great city of Brea

We here at Farrell’s couldn’t be happier to be opening one of our newest locations in Downtown Brea. It is a great city and the promenade is a lot of fun. For the next few months, while the location is being built, this will be the official blog page for you to frequently check to find out what's going on, see updated photos and videos and, who knows, maybe we might need your input on a few things.

For our first post we’d like to share with you some artist renderings of what the new location is going to look like. We think it’s going to be a very unique site. The other place we'll be giving updates is our official FaceBook page so become a friend and let's chat there too.

First things first, here are the details: The new Brea location will be right on the corner of Brea Boulevard and Birch Street and will be taking over the closed down Eddie Bauer store as well as the Kaitlyn store that has moved down Birch Street a bit to a new location. The store will be 6,300 square feet and will seat 230 customers in indoor and outdoor seating areas. This location will also host a unique feature to Farrell’s in the form of a walk up window located along Birch Street that will serve Farrell’s ice cream treats and food to walk up customers strolling along the promenade. The location will also boast a large old time candy store that Farrell’s fans remember and love, as well as all the classic food, parties and ice cream concoctions Farrell’s is know for including the Pig’s Trough, Zoo and Gibson Girl. New concoctions that are quickly becoming favorites will also be part of the new tradition. Original Farrell’s fans will recognize the décor, uniforms, music, songs, sirens, drums and unique party atmosphere Farrell’s is famous for. Much time and effort is being put into restoring the classic Farrell’s experience for everyone to enjoy.

We are currently looking to fill Management Positions for this location. If you think you got what it takes read more on our "Join Our Team" page... and good luck.

I've had good ice cream, but none as good as Farrell's. It's fun, kid- friendly, and the food is great! The service is friendly, and the food presentation isn't too overdone. I think anyone who loves ice cream should try Farrell's.
